2026 Boston Marathon Team

 

 

Applications for Team Boston Plan for Excellence (BPE) will open on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 9:00am!

 

BPE is proud to announce we have been selected as an official charity partner for the 130th Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America. Race day will be Monday, April 20, 2026.

Through this partnership, BPE will field a team of runners who will raise critical funds to support exceptional outcomes for all students by developing great teachers and great schools.

Each member of Team BPE is committed to raising a minimum of $7,500 to support our programs and Teaching Academies. With your help, we can ensure that every young person in Nubian Square has access to a high-quality education, no matter their background.

 

All applications will be reviewed based on the following criteria:

  • Dedication to creating meaningful, positive outcomes for Boston youth in line with BPE’s mission

  • Commitment to meeting fundraising minimums

  • Commitment to training and completing the 2026 marathon
