Thank you for your interest in Boston Teacher Residency (BTR)! At this time we are no longer reviewing applications for Boston Teacher Residency’s 2024-25 program year. The application for the 2025-26 program year will launch in August 2024.

We are still actively recruiting for Dudley Promise Corps (DPC).

DPC is a one-year, full-time AmeriCorps program designed to provide academic support to students in two Boston Public Schools, Dudley Street Neighborhood Charter School (preK-5) and Dearborn STEM Academy (6-12). DPC is a great opportunity for anyone interested in exploring a career in education. Many DPC alumni are now currently working in BPS as paraprofessionals and teachers (through BTR). Although all interested applicants are encouraged to apply, our high need area is corps members to support our middle school students at Dearborn.
DPC Program Highlights
  • Work with students in small groups providing academic support
  • Contribute to school-wide culture initiatives
  • Participate in coursework and training designed to prepare you for a career in education
  • Join a school team and community committed to social justice
  • Earn a living stipend and education award
