Together, network teachers and coaches learning to improve for themselves, for students, for the profession.

Join us!  The Early Career Teaching Network is interested in supporting and learning from a group of teachers committed to improving feedback to students, grading habits (teacher productivity) and improving the efforts/outcomes of students and their teachers.

Our hunch is, teachers separate grading/giving feedback from lesson planning. This can take too much time and, worst of all, students might not even look at the feedback.

But… what if grading was planning? What if you could use your graded work as tomorrow’s lesson plan? This group will explore systems of  lesson planning and grading with feedback codes where students use class time to interpret and implement teacher feedback.

The group is right for you if you want to…

  • Improve efficiency in your grading/feedback by learning and implementing new ideas
  • Collaborate to design and implement a systems-approach to feedback
  • Rethink the way your students receive and use feedback
  • Track your grading habits, make them public, and contribute to a group goal
  • Spend time to save time!
