Dudley Street Neighborhood Charter School is an exciting place in that challenges students to achieve at high levels. At Dudley Street School, we teach the skills students need to excel in today’s world — all in an environment that supports their intellectual, social, emotional and personal growth. There is a wonderful sense of community here and a level of excitement fueled by the unique aspects of the Dudley Street School experience.
Dudley Street School is open for enrollment to all students in Grades K1, K2, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 residing in the Boston Public School district. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, mental or physical disability, age, ancestry, athletic performance, special need, proficiency in the English language or a foreign language, or academic achievement.
Apply and re-apply every year, the 2nd week in November to be considered for our Lottery that takes place the 2nd week in March.
All Applicants must apply by the last day of February by 4:30pm of the year.
Contact Admission staff to update any information that may have changed after submitting your application. If we’re not able to get in touch with you, you may miss out an opportunity to join our school community.
If the number of applicants exceeds the number of available seats, we will hold a lottery. The lottery will be held on campus at 6 Shirley Street in March. We welcome all families to attend the lottery, but attendance is NOT MANDATORY to claim a seat should you receive one.

Dudley Street School forms a Prek-12 pathway with Dearborn STEM Academy. All Dudley Street School students have an automatic seat at Dearborn STEM for grades 6-12.
