Lisa Lineweaver has contributed to BPE’s school-based initiatives since 2001, facilitating the BPE-BPS Effective Practice Principals Network, developing the Formative Assessments of Student Thinking in Reading (FAST-R), supporting teachers’ use of FAST-R to guide their literacy instruction, and serving as a facilitator and co-director of BPE’s school-based inquiry programs, SAM-Boston and Accelerating Improvement through Inquiry. Ms. Lineweaver continues to support school-based inquiry as a consultant.

Ms. Lineweaver taught fifth grade in Williamsburg-James City County, Virginia, and earned her Masters in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She serves as an elected member of the Chelsea School Committee.
