• Content Area: English Language Arts, focus on reading comprehension
• Target population: from grade nine
• Data use: FAST-R, CLI

David A. Ellis Elementary (K2-5)

• Content area: English Language Arts, focus on reading comprehension
• Target population: from grade three
• Data use: FAST-R, running-record (analysis of students’ reading aloud), student interviews

Patrick F. Gavin Middle School (6-8)

• Content area: mathematics, with multiplication automaticity (efficiency) as a sub-skill
• Target population: grade six students “on the cusp” of passing MCAS (216-220).
• Data use: MCAS scores and item analysis, basic facts quiz, CLI, student interviews

Mildred Avenue Middle School (6-8)

• Content area: mathematics, with multiplication as a sub-skill
• Target population: grade six students in a specific MCAS proficiency range
• Data use: MCAS scores and item analysis, teacher and student interviews

William Barton Rogers Middle School (6-8)

• Content area: mathematics, with multiplication as a sub-skill
• Target population: from grade seven
• Data use: MCAS item analysis, student focus groups, teacher interviews,  CLI
